Chadwick Sapenter
Over
the last decade Chadwick Sapenter has worked with hundreds of thousands of current
and former foster youth, foster and adoptive parents, social workers, CASA
volunteers, government agencies and adoption ministries. These audiences
appreciate him because he shares his story with brutal honesty, humor and
authenticity.
When Chadwick is not
speaking on foster care or adoption he is the founder and Chief Book Maker at Little
Book of Words Publishing. As an entrepreneur he’s had his share of
successes and failures and attributes his resilience to his hard upbringing and
experience as a former foster youth. Chadwick’s life has had its share of
adversity, all of which has prepared him to have an impact on the lives of
others and most importantly show that it is possible to achieve anything no
matter what you’ve been through.
Along with being an
entrepreneur, he has written and published several books, the most recent ones
are called “Little Book of Words
Every Foster Kid Should Know” and “Little
Book of Words Every Foster & Adoptive Parent Should Know,” both of
these books are impacting the lives of current and former foster children and
families nationwide.
Chadwick also volunteers his
time as a board member and advisor to several organizations such as:
Partnerships For Children, Casey Families, Ready By 21 Sub Committee, CASA, and
the Texas Supreme Court Judicial Committee for youth, families, and children to
name a few.
He is married to his dream
girl, Kimberly, and is a proud father of two incredible boys, Jaylen and
Jackson. Their family currently live outside of Austin, Texas and is a tangible
example of how in one generation a cycle can be broken.
In
Chadwick’s free time he loves writing, reading, serving others, working out, coaching
youth sports, mentoring teens in my community, and eating authentic Texas BBQ.
