Become a Table Host

What does a Table Host Do?

Table Hosts are crucial to the success of the event and they invite the guests to hear about Child Advocates – Denver CASA.  This year we expect approximately 50 Table Hosts (500 guests).
  • Each Table Host invites 8 guests to sit at his or her table.  Many table hosts will be able to fill two (or more!) tables and you are encouraged to do so.  We will provide a CASA representative to sit at your table as well.
  • The breakfast will feature Chadwick Sapenter
  • Information will be presented about the work that Child Advocates’ volunteers do to advocate for abused children in Denver.
  • During the breakfast, each attendee will be asked to make a pledge to this important work.
  • There is no minimum or maximum pledge amount.
Timeline

March 1st- April 1st
Table Hosts invite guests.  In order to fill a table, invite more than 8 people.

April 1st
An electronic copy of the Light of Hope invitation will be sent to you and may be used as a reminder for your guests.  Call guests to remind them of the event and answer any questions they may have.  Stress the fact that the program will start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 8:30 a.m.  This allows them to get to work promptly, but also means that it is important for them to arrive shortly before 7:30 a.m. so that they can find your table before the program begins.

April 4th
Provide Julie Wilson with your list of guests by clicking here, or complete the form included in your Table Host packet.  Send the list by this date even if it is not completed.  Be sure that names are spelled correctly as the information will be used to prepare name tags.

April 11th
Arrive at the Sheraton Hotel by 7:00 a.m. to pick up your packet with pledge cards, and be prepared to welcome your guests when they arrive.
