Nigel Cabral ~ Athletic Director ~ Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad ~ PCH
~ Grew up in North County, San Diego and was a 4 year player at Rancho Buena Vista HS.
~ At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad, Nigel manages after school sports at the 3 middle schools in Carlsbad; Aviara Oaks, Calavera Hills, and Valley Middle Schools.
~ Also, Nigel and his coaching staff provide competitive youth basketball through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad known as Pacific Coast Hoops or PCH.
~ Nigel is also the Head Coach for Varsity women's basketball at Sage Creek HS, located in Carlsbad.
~ Nigel currently coaches the following PCH teams: 4th grade, 8th grade, and 9th grade boys teams.

~ Coach Ben is a native of Carlsbad, California,
where he grew up playing basketball and running track & field.
~He earned a Bachelor’s
of Science degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton.
~ Ben's knowledge and passion for basketball & exercise science has molded
him into the Pacific Hoops Basketball program.
~ Ben's goal is to help every
player reach their maximum potential; skill wise & athletically.
~ Ben also coaches the girls basketball teams at Calavera Hills middle school.
~ Ben currently coaches the following PCH teams: 5th grade boys.

Matt Lopez ~ PCH Head Coach
~ Matt has over 10+ years of coaching
experience in multiple sports. He has been often told that his basketball IQ is
off the charts and that he fits into a leadership role immediately to help
get teams to work together. He holds himself and his players to a high
standard of professionalism and respect for other teams.
~Matt has an
outstanding work ethic and is willing to go out of his way to ensure all of his
players understand the importance of communication, energy, and trust on and
off the basketball court.
~He has been involved with basketball with over
25 years of basketball playing experience where he finished his competitive
career at the community college level.
~ Matt currently coaches the following teams: 4th grade
