VOLUNTEER
 The ‘Stand Up For
Kids’ Gala Dinner & Auction for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater
Conejo Valley has been a great success in the past for many reasons, one of
which has been our terrific group of dedicated volunteers! With
approximately 600 guests attending our signature fundraiser, we need many
committed volunteers donating their time, talents and resources. You
don’t need to be experienced, we are happy to train you. We are now
searching for additional volunteer talent for a variety of jobs and tasks. Your
assistance is needed in some of the following areas: |
- Solicit Auction Items from friends, neighbors and/or local businesses (silent
& live). Popular auction items include: hotel accommodations, sports
memorabilia, restaurant gift certificates, event tickets, collectibles, art,
wine, etc. Check out the Wish List on this website’s Auction Page for
additional auction items.
- Help identify and solicit Sponsors (Financial and
In-Kind).
- Sell Tribute and Program Book Advertisements.
- Let creative, artistic juices flow with assembling
auction baskets, decorations.
- Provide help in the office with data entry, follow-up
phone calls
- Assist on the day and/or evening of the Gala; delivering
items to hotel, set-up of silent auction, check-in, guest relations, live
auction spotters, etc.
