SPARK combines social networking and civic-mindedness
together as the foundation for our young professionals association. We value our
member's time and offer unique opportunities to engage themselves in the mission
of our association without infringing too much. Combining a networking/social
event with a volunteer project held at later date, allows people the
choice to interact with the children we serve, have fun while supporting a great
cause, or both!
SPARK members, who volunteer their
time, talent and treasure, are from a variety of industries including finance,
legal, entertainment, public relations and medical. They are the up-and-comers
at their companies and are in touch with the current trends. SPARK provides a
unique opportunity to meet new people, network, have fun and work with a
high-profile non-profit organization, while giving back to the San Diego
community.
We invite you to join our unique organization. We offer two levels of membership commitment.
SPARK General Member - $20 annual dues
Be a “friend” of SPARK by attending our social events and helping us with community service projects.
Benefits
SPARK Ambassador benefits include helping over 25,000 kids,
Access to Service Events,
Discounts on SPARK Social Event ticket prices,
What We Ask Of You
You have no requirements to fulfill except to enjoy your experience.

A higher level of commitment to SPARK. Serve on a planning committee and help us create an amazing experience for all SPARK members!
Benefits

Access to Ambassador meetings, allowed to vote and serve on the Executive Committee and
Invitation to the exclusive Ambassadors year-end party.
What We Ask Of You
Required to attend at least two (2) events, either social or service
Required to serve on an Ambassador Committee
Our Committees
•Social Committee (Chair: PK): help plan our social mixers and social fundraising events including Game Nights, Halloween Party, Ugly Christmas Sweater Party and Scavenger Hunt.
•Service Committee (Chair: Stephanie Durso): help plan our service events including Holiday Party with the Kids, Games Room renovation, Canyon Clean Up, Back to After School party, etc.
•Membership (Chairs: Adam Werner/Joan Allmaras): help determine membership levels, track membership and introduce new and prospective members to SPARK
•Communications (Chair Mahvash Khan): help spread the word about SPARK through the use of social media and traditional communication means. Keep Members and Ambassadors up-to-date on current events and upcoming service and social opportunities.
•Website (Chairs Tim Norris and Jon Greene): help us create a first class web experience to communicate to members and to spread the word about SPARK.
