The Promise of Hope emphasizes community and the importance of working together to protect children, especially those who have been victims of child abuse. Come and listen as local teen, Makaila Gay, shares her personal experience of abuse and life in foster care. Her story is certain to be impactful as she credits her CASA advocate for helping to bring her home. The program will also celebrate the organization's 30th Anniversary by honoring long-standing partners and volunteers. Christa Dubill of 41 Action News will emcee the program.
Held in recognition of April’s designation as Child Abuse Prevention Month, this inspirational program encourages involvement while sharing messages of hope for children who have been abused or neglected. The Promise of Hope is free for all attendees; however, guests are encouraged to contribute financially in support of CASA children.
