Learning to invent stories develops literacy, stimulates imagination, and enhances a child's relationships. Cal-Poly Pomona together with Boys & Girls Clubs of Pomona Valley brings the spectacular program "Storytelling" for kids 12 and younger. Kids will enjoy Profesisonal Storytellers, receive assistance and tutoring by Cal Poly students and most of all learn the Art of Storytelling to develop and enhance their reading, writing and creativity skills. Even more your child will build self-confidence, develop great speaking skills and benefit from college mentors.
The program is directed by Cal Poly Professor Sandra Posey and Kerri Kiernana. Cal Poly Pomona provides this program free with the support of a grant.
