SportsFest 2015 will have a new look - and will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City Sports L·A·B (Lifestyle, Attitude, Behavior) program - 10 formal sports leagues for Club members, plus healthy lifestyles programming and exposure to careers in the sports and health industries.
Help us literally change lives through improved fitness, a positive use of free time, reduced stress, and a focus on the future for nearly 800 Club youth every day. Your support will help boys and girls get off the sidelines and in on the action – and ensure the continued impact of Boys & Girls Clubs programming throughout our community.

Featuring a Personal Interview with Sugar Ray Leonard
We're thrilled to have Sugar Ray Leonard join us for this event - the boxer who inspired us all to dream with his gold-medal achievement in the 1976 Olympic Games. As a child, Leonard witnessed lives around him wasted by crime and violence...a story many of Kansas City's Club youth can relate to. But, sports - and his membership at the Boys & Girls Clubs - provided a reason for Leonard to keep on dreaming...and the result was life-changing.
Dress: Dress for SportsFest 2015 is casual, and every guest will receive a ticket to the 1:10 p.m. Kansas City Royals vs. Tampa Bay Rays game that afternoon.
Why: It's all about kids who need our help! The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City serves nearly 800 youth per day, and our goal is to reach 8,000 members this year. For most of them, who live amidst crime and violence, sports can be life-changing; a reason to get up in the morning...to go to school...and to keep dreaming. 100% of the proceeds from SportsFest stay RIGHT HERE in our community and help local Boys & Girls Clubs youth be more active now, and more prepared for the future.
