2011 Kingsland Ranch Steak Challenge

The 2nd annual Kingsland Ranch Steak Challenge will be held Saturday, May 28, at The IKE in West Monroe as part of the Southern Fried Festival.
Grill Masters will cook for the judges at noon and afterwards cook steaks for the festival goers. A steak sampling ticket is $15 and includes a Kingsland Ranch steak, baked potato and small salad. Tickets will be on sale at the SFF food ticket booths.

Winners of the Challenge and the People's Choice will be announced about 5:30 p.m. and they will receive gift cards from Academy Sports + Outdoors, one of the event's sponsors.
Grill masters and their teams can enter now for the event. $125 team entry fee.
The event is a fund-raiser for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Louisiana.
Grill masters will sign a hold harmless agreement before given a team package.
Package consists of steaks & sausage, grill master's apron, and a map with each team's designated cooking space.
