About CASA

What is CASA?
- CASA is a non-profit organization of neutral, court appointed Advocates who are the voice for abused and neglected foster children in Fresno and Madera Counties.
Why CASA?
- In our area alone, there are over 2,000 children in the foster care system
- Studies show that children with a CASA volunteer are substantially less likely to spend time in long-term foster care and are more likely to become adopted or reunified with their families.
- Children need to do more than simply survive. They need to thrive, in the safety and love of a family throughout their childhood and into adulthood.
- CASA volunteers are a formidable force that fight for the rights of the children. There is no one else like a CASA volunteer.
How can you help?
- Consider participating in our 4th Annual Casino Night fundraiser. Our goal is to provide an evening of fun and entertainment, while raising funds to support CASA's mission. Dollars raised through Casino Night go directly towards helping CASA recruit, train and support the compassionate volunteers who advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children and give a voice to their needs in court.
