Building Campaign
The Campaign for The Boys & Girls Clubs of Marshall County
The Club involves young boys and girls in wholesome--and fun--activities that build their self worth. We teach the values of responsibility and civic involvement. We empower youth to make wise choices and to succeed in school and in life. In this age of teen alcohol, drugs, premarital sex, and violence, we work to create model citizens for our future.
Today, we are the largest youth-serving organization in Marshall County and we serve nearly 1,000 youth.
The Club has just kicked off a $2.5 million capital campaign. To date, we have raised $2,350,000. We need your help to raise the remaining $150,000 to meet our goal. An anonymous donor has agreed to contribute $50,000 if we can raise another $100,000.
We are asking that all campaign pledges and gifts be made with the understanding that they are above and beyond traditional annual fund gifts.
Thus, if you can only afford to support one of our funds, we ask that you continue your loyal annual fund support in lieu of supporting the capital campaign. Annual support is literally our "life blood" since this support is critical to maintaining the quality of our programs.
