What to Bring to Camp: All camps make use of indoor and outdoor environments. We advise campers to bring a clearly labeled swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, and appropriate outdoor apparel and footwear as required. There are cubbies at The Club for daily storage, although we recommend all items are brought home at the end of each camp day. Campers need to be comfortable carrying their own belongings. |

Check-In/Sign-Out: Please sign your child(ren) in and out each day on the clipboard. Parents are encouraged to introduce themselves to the staff and ask any questions. For many children, attending camp is the highlight of their summer. For others, usually first-timers, preparing for camp can cause anxiety and reluctance to attend. Not to worry, with care and a nurturing environment, apprehension quickly disappears. Our staff is here to create a fun and positive experience for every camper. Our staff/counselor to camper ratio is always a minimum of 1:12. |

Lost & Found: Two things are for sure. . .Number one, more items are lost than found, and number two, if an item can get lost, it will. On a regular basis we try to comb through the Lost and Found bin to reunite articles with their owners. To make the process easier, please label everything clearly. Despite our best efforts to return lost articles to their owners during the summer, there are inevitably several bags of Lost and Found at the end of the season. It continues to be our policy to make every effort to return any labelled clothing at the end of the summer. After September 1, all unclaimed lost and found items will be donated to a local charity. |

Withdrawals: If a camper discontinues attending the camp Session once it has started, there will be no refunds or credits. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo & Las Virgenes reserves the right to dismiss a camper whose conduct is dangerous, illegal, or in the judgment of the Camp Director, detrimental to the camp and/or to other campers. The unused tuition will not be refunded. |

This form may be sent by fax, in-person or mail. Please refer to the website page, 'Steps to Sign-Up' for more detailed information. |

Campers will not be permitted to attend camp if a balance remains. Administering Medication: Staff will administer medication only after parents have completed a 'Request for Administration of Prescription Medication' Form. This Form provides permission to our staff to administer medication to campers during camp hours as per details provided on the Form. Administration of medication will only be provided when this Form is completed and signed. All prescription medication must be in its original prescribed container. The parent/guardian of a camper with a serious health concern is strongly encouraged to have proper identification on the student at all times (i.e., Medic Alert Bracelet) and is responsible for providing, in advance, medication/supplies for any treatment required in a life-threatening situation. These health concerns inlclude, but are not limited to: severe allergies and anaphylactic shock, severe asthma, seizures and diabetes. |

Epipens and Allergies: We realize the importance of educating staff in handling life-threatening allergies. Staff training regarding life threatening allergies ensures a proactive approach to safety. Our staff are CPR and First Aid trained so they will respond appropriately should there be an anaphylactic and/or allergic reaction. Please be sure to complete a 'Request for Administration of Prescription Medication' Form if your child carries an epipen. We will keep the other epipen in our emergency cabinet located in Room 1. Please be sure to label all of your child's epipens with their first and last name. |
