About Diamonds
Violet Ripken (Vi) an extraordinary woman full of compassion and heart, gives a great deal to the community and creates a positive environment for our precious youth. Living in Aberdeen, Vi knew that something needed to be done to improve the lives of children from disadvantaged circumstances in Harford County. To provide hope and opportunities for youth, she helped establish a Boys & Girls Club of America presence in the county that became a model for Clubs around the state.
