Dear Friends of Youth,

Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County would like to invite you to participate in the 2017 local Youth of the Year Program, our premier recognition initiative for Club members. This year’s Youth of the Year Awards Ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 30th at Galloping Hill Caterers, 1085 Galloping Hill Rd, Union, NJ. We will kick off the evening with dinner at 6:00 PM, followed by an inspiring awards ceremony and announcement of our 2017 Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County Youth of the Year.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Youth of the Year Leadership Program celebrates the nation’s most deserving teens and their incredible stories. These amazing young people exemplify the Boys & Girls Club mission, and are proof of the impact Clubs make in transforming and saving kids’ lives.

Your participation in this signature recognition event will help foster Club teens’ leadership service, academic excellence and dedication to living healthy lifestyles. Your support will empower young people to reach their full potential and provide them with access to the tools they need to lead, succeed and inspire.

Tickets for the Youth of the Year Dinner and Awards Ceremony are now available for $60 per person and can be purchased by clicking "PURCHASE TICKETS" above. Tickets for children ages 12 & under are $30.

Any individual, business or organization who would like to be an event sponsor or provide a monetary donation can do so under "PURCHASE TICKETS" as well.

Through your generosity, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Union County Youth of the Year program recognizes the most outstanding Boys & Girls Club members ages 6-18 and selects one teen member between the ages of 14-18 to compete and represent our Clubs in the state of New Jersey Youth of the Year competition. If chosen as the state winner, the teen will then compete in the Regional and even the National Competition if named the regional winner. On a state level, each Youth of the Year candidate receives a $2,000 scholarship, the top three runners-up each receive $3,500, and the State Winner receives a $10,000 scholarship.
