Session 4 (JULY 25-AUGUST 5) : Sweet Tooth

Members will learn about making their own yummy treats and healthy snacks during this session. They will research where and how these treats are made. In addition, they will learn about taking care of themselves and good dental hygiene.

Below are just a few of the fun activities our members will enjoy during Session Two:
• Members will learn the history of candy and about the countries they originated in.
• Nutritional facts will be explored and explained how they affect the body.
• Marquette Dentistry students will visit and educate members on proper dental hygiene.
• A blind-folded sweets tasting competition will take place.
• Members will make candy and decorative fruit dipped in chocolate, strawberry, and caramel!
